Grace’s German Meatballs

Meatballs:
2 pounds ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 cup bread crumbs
2 large eggs

Sauce:
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 cup sour kraut
1 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
1 (12 ounce) jar chili sauce
12 ounces of water
Mix meatball ingredients together and form meatballs. Put in one layer in a 13×9” pan. Mix and simmer sauce ingredients for 5 minutes. Pour over meatballs. Cover with foil and bake 1 ½ – 2 hours at 350°.
