Chocolate Sheet Cake

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
Boil:
2 sticks of butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup water
½ cup sour milk (add ½ tsp. lemon juice)
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Icing:
1 stick of butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
6 Tbsp. milk
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Optional: 1 cup pecans
Boil 2 sticks butter, 4 Tbsp. cocoa, 1 cup of water. Pour over 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups flour. Add ½ cup sour milk, eggs, backing soda, and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into an 11×17” cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
Icing: Start 5 minutes before cake is done. Mix and bring to a boil: 1 stick of butter, 4 Tbsp. cocoa and 6 Tbsp. milk. Then add 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. You can also add 1 cup of finely chopped pecans if desired. Mix well and spread over cake while still hot.
